THE NOSEY NEIGHBOR. June 25, 2020
BUSTED! My wonderful morning ritual flew away.
Walkers walk, photographers take photos, writers write. Singers sing, runners run, painters paint, readers read.
There’s a good chance if I go photo walking in the early morning hours that it would become a habit. If I don’t make it early then the distractions pull me in various directions and that direction will usually lead to doing nothing about it later in the day.
Morning walks prime my brain.
Getting out of bed before the sun comes up is a challenge.
I must confess, sometimes, I sleep with my day clothes on to get a jump on the day.
I prep my coffee the night before. Getting out of bed is half the battle.
This morning, me, myself, and I had a battle and we did not win. Excuses, I’m to tired, my bones ache, my feet hurt, tomorrow will be a better day to go. BUSTED! My wonderful morning ritual flew out the window.
I am hoping that by these write ups, it is stirring up you all to consider some photo walks or should I be calling them, photo-prayer walks because that is what they sometimes turn into.
The neighbor landlord invited me to take a look at the back yard make over almost ready for reveal as he is getting it ready for our new neighbors. So now I don’t have to be nosy wondering what the back yard looks like because a privacy extension installed to our block wall. The asking rent is astounding.
“And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds” (Heb. 10:24).
Life vibrates with joy and hope. Cultivating Joy rewires the brain to help you become more compassionate, resilient, energized, and purposeful. ************************* "Be confident of this very thing, that I who have begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Take my word for it."~Phil.1:6
